About Beacon Children's Centre
One in every three children in resource-limited settings are not meeting their developmental potential, and these numbers continue to rise. Many of these children are at risk of developing childhood disabilities if not supported. Beacon Children's Centre is a one-stop integrated early child development centre where we propel every child to their full potential. Our dedicated team of early childhood development professionals work together to identify existing challenges and holistically support the development of every child who comes through our Centre, so as to bring out their best version. Our services are family-centred, to ensure that caregivers are empowered and supported on this journey. We believe every child is a flower that must bloom in their time when well-nurtured.

Our Multidisciplinary Team
We have a multidisciplinary team of early childhood development professionals from across diverse disciplines, including health, nutrition, social services, mental health, and special education. Our team of highly qualified, child-friendly professionals includes a developmental paediatrician, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, behaviour therapists, psychologists, nutritionists, dedicated nurses, and special-needs educators. We also onboard other sub-specialists as needed.
Our Location
The facility is located at Feruzi Towers, 3rd floor, Wing B, on Kiambu Road, opposite the Quickmart. We are situated outside the central business district of Nairobi City, in the serene suburb of Thindigua. The facility is physically accessible to persons of different abilities and accommodates those using diverse assistive devices. It is convenient for those using public transportation and those with private transport. There is ample and safe parking for clients.
Word from Our Founder
"I believe every child matters and was born to fulfil a God-given purpose. As a developmental paediatrician, my passion and priority are to ensure that all children are provided with opportunities to survive and thrive to meet their full potential. Unfortunately, families with children with developmental difficulties often face high societal stigma, discrimination, and the limited support services in our local settings. These remain key barriers to accessing the much-needed care. Beacon Children's Centre (BCC) is an integrated early childhood development centre established in November 2020 to address existing gaps and contribute to improving the outcomes of children with developmental difficulties and disabilities. I envisioned a place where every affected child and their families would be physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually supported.
