Our Community & Caregiver Outreach
Community Outreach Programs
Held quarterly, these programs create public awareness and education on early child development matters via mainstream and social media. Topics focus on the WHO nurturing care framework, UNICEF Care for Child Development, and other key resources.
Biannual Medical Camps
Medical camps held twice a year at different venues, offering essential health services to the community, subject to sponsorship.
Caregiver Skills Training Sessions
Monthly virtual sessions led by therapists on supporting a child’s development and functioning, based on WHO Care for Child Development and University of Liverpool Ubuntu manuals for cerebral palsy. Covers physical, mental, cognitive, communication, intellectual, social-emotional, and feeding support.
Virtual Caregiver Support Groups
Virtual group sessions providing psychosocial support for caregivers, held as the need arises.
Parent Support Group Linkage
Connecting caregivers to specialized parent support groups for children with specific challenges similar to theirs.
